My Stock Trading for this Week (Mar. 10 - Mar. 14, 2014)

I started the week by selling small boardlot of GERI and BHI. I took some profit just to be sure. Though I'm still waiting for these stocks to go up some more, it is nice to take profit once in a while so that I have extra cash for buying other stocks.

I know that those mentioned stocks were penny stocks or "basura" stocks as sometimes called by traders that's why I only buy small shares. It is just for my play ;) . It is still better to buy blue chip stocks like companies of the Ayala Family, Sy Family, Aboitiz Family, and other well known companies.

Try opening your online trading account and feel the excitement! There are lots of online brokers nowadays in the Philippines. I'm using FirstMetroSec. You could get lots of information from the website of Philippine Stock Exchange (www.pse.com.ph) if you are interested about stocks. Also, there are lots of groups in the facebook that tackles stock investing / stock trading.

I wish to add more on my PX but I have no more cash for buying. Maybe next month after salary.

Investing in the Philippine Stock Market

Can't wait for the opening of the stock market again on Monday. It seems that foreign money is coming back in after the outflow started last year when FED announced the so called tapering. Our profits from my watermelon venture were invested in the stocks while waiting for the next season so I have to cheer for my portfolio and the PSE.

Net foreign buying last week. I hope there will be more this week.

Tagal na rin pala nitong post ko na ito... Throwback sa mga nabili kong stocks noon. Wala na pala ni isa sa kanila ang naiwan sa portfolio ko.

Post-watermelon Season

Thanks God for a great watermelon season, my people and I were able to have a decent profit. It could have been bigger most probably if the number of watermelon growers were the same just like on 2012. But since so many people already knew about the profit from growing watermelons, there were more who tried on 2013 and some did not have a good profit. Lucky for us my people were able to do a good marketing.

Right now, I am busy with trading stocks in the Philippine stock market. I have an online broker thus I can do the trading online. This is what keeping me busy these days aside from my work of course. After what happened in the Philippine stock market last year, it is a challenge for me to pick good stocks for this year. To name a few, I have PX, GERI, ALI and MPI...

I also bought etf or exchange traded funds (FMETF to be exact) for our two daughters from their own money which they were able to accumulate from the gifts given to them.
